It didn’t really was clear to me the meaning of the words “Magic mouse”.  I have always known one computer mouse, and the only one I have been using since the time I started using a computer. Promoted by my curiosity, I went ahead and quickly read the post that had caught my attention. And guess what, Apple’s new mouse is really magical.

Features of The Aplple Magic Mouse:

Apple’s new product is beautifully at its appearance. Also, like every other Apple product, its easy to use.

The interesting thing about Apple’s magic mouse that it is you can click on any part of it. There is no just left click or right click or the central scrolling function. You can use any area of the mouse. And to move the pages up and down, run your finger up and down – the distance to which the page moves is decided upon the weight of your scroll.

When you compare the functionality of the magic mouse with the normal mouse, there is no difference at all. Where the Magic Mouse brings a refreshing change is its usability and the design. After having used the regular mouse for ages, users will love to enjoy this new mouse.

A little excerpt from the blog post:

“Then there is the little matter of multi-touch – you can scroll through pages by running your finger up and down the mouse. You can pan a full 360 degrees, flip through pages or images by using a two-finger flick, and zoom in and out by holding down Control and scrolling upwards and downwards. And oh yes, for a right click, click on the top right corner, and for a left click, on the top left corner.”

Priced $69, the magical mouse may be slightly on the expensive side but then a lot would not mind spending the amount. Let’s see how the users react to this all new mouse.

The new iphone 3GS is set for an immenent release and people are queing up for the new phone outside the O2 stores across the country. The hype is true - The iphone is worth while? Of course, the answer would be, YES! Of course it is worth while to invest in the iphone! Yet, when we analyse the set up of the new iphone we do unfortunately come into a few road blocks which are quite annoying.

The biggest issue with the current iphone has got to be the onscreen keyboard. For me, I much prefer the Blackberry keypad as the keyboard is built directly into the phone. Surely, this has got to be worse? It is far better in my opinion. Although the iPhone does offer an onscreen touchpad it is extremely annoying to use. It’s a case of the old classic – your fingers are too big for the screen. You try and type in one key and you end up with the completely wrong letter. It can get very frustrating indeed.

Computer keyboards are harder to replicate the smaller they get however having one on screen does seem like the logical choice for a phone like the iphone. Let us hope that educational keyboards don’t end up this hard to use as I am struggling to get use to how a wireless keyboard works myself.

Either way, I think it is something that Apple really need to address. Many of my friends own the iphone and on numerous occassions I have heard them complain about the keypad on it. The Blackberry is far more easy to use. It is definitely worth considering when you purchase your next phone. If you are thinking of whether to buy an iphone or Blackberry remember that the touch screen keypad on the iphone is not of the best quality.
